He won't like me for it, but having heard from Adrian, I was prompted to search the archives - and came up with this.

However, I am hoping that Adrian might like to reminisce about a certain Outside Broadcast from the Bewicke Arms in Hallaton, Leicestershire when we covered the annual Bottle-kicking Contest on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday. The bar opened at 8.00am so the precise details of the output are now rather vague.

Moi ??! I can't speak for you lot, but I was as sober as a sober thing ! Wasn't Patsy Newey producing, along with you? I remember some great 'illustrative' titles being programmed; 'Sultans Of Swig' 'Do The Funky Kickin' and many more old favourites ! If you remember, we had an American crew turn up from ABC News - they were doing a feature on Great British Eccentricities, and after the RL show we stayed behind to record a piece with them, concluding with ' I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass' !! .. Most appropriate.
